Lorries need a high concentrated fuel, because of their weight. The use of electrical batteries are not possible because this would increase the weight of a lorry and the streets of the future will not be able to carry too big and heavy vehicles. Lorries are needed for transporting goods from the train station to the final destinations and vice versa. They are never used for long range transport because the trains are much faster and less energy consuming then the lorries. The maximum weight of such a lorry can be 3 tons, so that they can carry 2 tons maximum. More heavy goods needs to be transported in pieces or via rivers by boats and the places for manufacturing these goods has to be at such transportation ways.

The need for freight transportation will be minimized due to the price for energy. Biofuel will cost much more then today and a product will only be competitive if the energy consumption for producing is is as low as possible. Therefore the market will reduce the frequency and amount of transportation we see now.

But how can food production be competitive to biofuel production? If biofuel is such expensive will then food also be such expensive, which might lead to starving of the poor even in the well developed countries? Here the free market will do no good. For that it is necessary to subsidize food and put extra taxes on the biofuel, especially on biofuel produced in foreign countries in which the people are starving. Import of biofuel or plant material which can be used for biofuel production needs to impose with high taxes, so that food production in those countries will be competitive versus the biofuel production.
