Sustainable World Transportation System

The minimization of energy use during transportation of goods and people has the highest priority. So the most important task is to minimize the need of transportation which can be done by keeping energy at a high price. The import of fuel generated by plants in underdeveloped country needs to be put on high import taxes to prevent poor countries to replace the food plants by fuel plants.
Virtual 3D Worlds can be used to allow people to meet even if they are not travelling. Goods will be expensive if they need a lot of transportation energy and therefore replaced by those which are produced with much lesser transport efforts.
Pedelecs are used for the short way people transport (up to 30 km) in rural areas, mainly to and from work. In urban areas the public transport by Low Energy Trains and busses is performed.
Low Energy Trains are also used for mid range transport (30 km - 2000 km). For long range transports of people Solar Driven Airships are used.

Goods will be transported also by Low Energy Trains for all mid range distances and by Bio Fuel Driven Lorries for the last mile.
